Biannual Bibliothon TBR!

Once again it's time for the summer part of the Biannual Bibliothon! This portion of the read-a-thon runs from July 3rd to July 9th. I can't wait for this week long read-a-thon to binge read some great books! Also it might help my annoyingly long reading slump to end. The hosts of this read-a-thon came up with several reading and video challenges and I will link their youtube videos about both below. While I will not be doing the video challenges, however, I will be participating in a couple of the reading challenges. The Reading Challenges include:   1. Read the group book- The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson   2. Free Choice/Wild Card Book   3. Read a Book Off of the Host's List of Recommendations   4. Read a Book With Your Favorite Mythical Creature   5. Read a book You've Been Putting off Picking Up   6. Read a Book from an Author You've Never Read Before   7. Read a Book in a Different Formant than You Usually Read I will not be reading the

Soul Meaning by A.D. Starrling

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My Rating:  4/5 Stars Average Rating: 3.81 Stars Format: Audiobook Length: 10 hrs 1 min *I received a free audiobook of Soul Meaning in exchange for an honest review* This was a fast paced, action filled adventure involving immortals, hunters, and multiple explosions!  It centers around a halfbreed of two immortal races named Soul. For about the first three hundred years of his life, he was being hunted down by hunters from both sides . However, the hunt ends for a while, but it begins again years after causing Soul and Reid Hasley, his human business partner, to go on the run to find out why Soul is being hunted once again. This leads them to discovering many secrets, allies, and enemies. The immortal concept of them living for as long as it takes for them to die seventeen times was really cool, but confusing. I really liked it, but why seventeen lives... that seem like such a random number. Anyway it was still interesting and they gave me a Highlander vibe,

May Wrap Up and June TBR!

A Little Update! Hey guys! It had been a long time since I have written one of these and I'm so sorry. I've just been busy with work and school that I haven't had a lot of time to read. However, I'm home for break and that should all change! Also I'm going to try to do better next semester with uploading and such because I really do like book blogging and I just want to keep growing as a bookblogger. Anyway, Now Onto My Wrap Up for May! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ In the month of May, I read a total of three books and I enjoyed them all. Some more than others, but they all were good. These books include Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning , Scarlet by Marissa Meyer , and Severance by Michael Pristsos and Jessica Mastorakos .   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ Darkfever was a great start to a series about the fae and it has unique ideas involving the fae world trope. It had good characters and great world building. I really liked it and I will definitely continue with the series. I really li

My Rating: 3.5/5 Stars Average Rating: 3.67 Stars Pages: 380 ISBN-13: 9871500392710 *I received a free copy of Severance in exchange for an honest review* "To be born Gaian is to be born gifted. That wasn’t always true, but as more infants were born with special talents of the mind, what was once considered abnormal became the majority. The ungifted were sent to Thalassa, an island chain off the coast of the mainland. These orphans grew up in a vassal kingdom forced to pay dues to its overseers.  In Severance, the first book of The Sovereign, a Thalassan soldier and orphan gets wind of a plot against his island home and wages war against its oppressors. A captain’s daughter fights for a love across the cultural divide. An assassin’s need for power takes him on a bloody journey throughout both lands. And a princess tells the biggest lie in her nation’s history, protecting her family’s right to rule."- Goodreads  Severance was a good novel about the struggles tho
