Dewey's End of Event Meme

Hey Guys! Just posting the Dewey's end of Event Meme! I hope everyone had fun for the past 24 hours and got a lot of reading done! :D

Which hour was most daunting for you?
I think hour 12 was the hardest because I ended up getting a screaming headache...so yeah hour 12.
Could you list a few high-interest books that you think could keep a Reader engaged for next year?
Before I  Break by Alec John Belle or Once a Witch by Carolyn MacCullough! Although I did not read Once a Witch yesterday, I have read it many times before and I still love it!
Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year?
Hmm...I cannot think of anything at the moment.
What do you think worked really well in this year’s Read-a-thon?
I think the cheerleaders worked really well because they kept giving me a kick to read when I started to get sidetracked.
How many books did you read?
Two books!!! I'm so happy!
What were the names of the books you read?
Before I Break by Alec John Belle and Coraline by Neil Gaiman!!
Which book did you enjoy most?
Before I Break mostly because I liked the plot, characters, and topics more than Coraline.
Which did you enjoy least?
Coraline by Neil Gaiman, but it was still really good but I liked Before I Break more.
If you were a Cheerleader, do you have any advice for next year’s Cheerleaders?
No, but I want to be one next year!
How likely are you to participate in the Read-a-thon again? What role would you be likely to take next time?
Definitely, it was so much fun and I met so many wonderful people! An I would want to be a cheerleader next year!

Once again it's time for the summer part of the Biannual Bibliothon! This portion of the read-a-thon runs from July 3rd to July 9th. I can't wait for this week long read-a-thon to binge read some great books! Also it might help my annoyingly long reading slump to end. The hosts of this read-a-thon came up with several reading and video challenges and I will link their youtube videos about both below. While I will not be doing the video challenges, however, I will be participating in a couple of the reading challenges. The Reading Challenges include:   1. Read the group book- The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson   2. Free Choice/Wild Card Book   3. Read a Book Off of the Host's List of Recommendations   4. Read a Book With Your Favorite Mythical Creature   5. Read a book You've Been Putting off Picking Up   6. Read a Book from an Author You've Never Read Before   7. Read a Book in a Different Formant than You Usually Read I will not ...

Night of All Evil by J.M. Shorney

My Rating: 3/5 stars Average Rating: 4/5 stars Format: ebook ISBN13: 9781310806902 I received a free copy in exchange for a honest review from AuthorAmp.com Night of All Evil was a good gothic horror novel about a witch named Freya that has a dark past that comes back to haunt her and her family. Freya was my favorite character and I really enjoyed reading from her point of view. The thing I liked about her was how she acted in the situations she is placed in. She also is just an interesting person that also happens to be a super powerful witch, which is pretty cool. In fact once I started this novel, I had a hard time putting it down. While I really enjoyed reading the story, the character development was just okay and it was kind of predictable. However, it was still a good read that grabbed my attention and kept me entertained.                        ...

May Wrap Up and June TBR!

A Little Update! Hey guys! It had been a long time since I have written one of these and I'm so sorry. I've just been busy with work and school that I haven't had a lot of time to read. However, I'm home for break and that should all change! Also I'm going to try to do better next semester with uploading and such because I really do like book blogging and I just want to keep growing as a bookblogger. Anyway, Now Onto My Wrap Up for May! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ In the month of May, I read a total of three books and I enjoyed them all. Some more than others, but they all were good. These books include Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning , Scarlet by Marissa Meyer , and Severance by Michael Pristsos and Jessica Mastorakos .   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ Darkfever was a great start to a series about the fae and it has unique ideas involving the fae world trope. It had good characters and great world building. I really liked it and I will definitely continue with the series. I really li...
