Mid February Update!!

Ello readers! How are you? I hope you are having a wonderful month! This month has been kind of exciting! Mostly because the blog looks different unless you didn't notice! :P

This month has been a good reading month for me. I finished a book series (The Mortal Instruments Series...amazing!), The Shinning by Stephen King, a short story, and a couple reviews books. Now I am currently working on finishing The Patmos Deception by Davis Bunn and Rising Tide: Dark Innocence by Claudette Melanson (author) and Daniel Chon (illustrator).

I hope to get a lot of reading done this week as I am on vacation and I am participating in two read-a-thons. I put up a late TBR that goes for both read-a-thons, which are currently happening. I will post a combined wrap up for both of them as well.

Lastly, I am working on writing reviews for Chestnuts and Einstein's Beach House.

I hope all of you have a good end to your month!

Once again it's time for the summer part of the Biannual Bibliothon! This portion of the read-a-thon runs from July 3rd to July 9th. I can't wait for this week long read-a-thon to binge read some great books! Also it might help my annoyingly long reading slump to end. The hosts of this read-a-thon came up with several reading and video challenges and I will link their youtube videos about both below. While I will not be doing the video challenges, however, I will be participating in a couple of the reading challenges. The Reading Challenges include:   1. Read the group book- The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson   2. Free Choice/Wild Card Book   3. Read a Book Off of the Host's List of Recommendations   4. Read a Book With Your Favorite Mythical Creature   5. Read a book You've Been Putting off Picking Up   6. Read a Book from an Author You've Never Read Before   7. Read a Book in a Different Formant than You Usually Read I will not ...

Night of All Evil by J.M. Shorney

My Rating: 3/5 stars Average Rating: 4/5 stars Format: ebook ISBN13: 9781310806902 I received a free copy in exchange for a honest review from AuthorAmp.com Night of All Evil was a good gothic horror novel about a witch named Freya that has a dark past that comes back to haunt her and her family. Freya was my favorite character and I really enjoyed reading from her point of view. The thing I liked about her was how she acted in the situations she is placed in. She also is just an interesting person that also happens to be a super powerful witch, which is pretty cool. In fact once I started this novel, I had a hard time putting it down. While I really enjoyed reading the story, the character development was just okay and it was kind of predictable. However, it was still a good read that grabbed my attention and kept me entertained.                        ...
