Opening Meme:
1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?
The United States
2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?
Either Doctor Sleep by Stephen King or The Child Thief by Brom.
3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?
Popcorn
4) Tell us a little something about yourself!
I'm going to be graduating this June and then I'm off to college. I like writing and blogging just as much as reading. I sadly don't have cute pets. I started my blog for the #readathon last October and I've loved working on this blog since then!
5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to?
I did participate in last years read-a-thon and I will take breaks when I need them, which I didn't do last year.

Hour 3 Update:
Sadly, I missed two hours of the read-a-thon because I slept through my alarm, but that is okay! I am ready to read! Now I got to make coffee and read Doctor Sleep by Stephen King! Hope you all are enjoying your day!

Night of All Evil by J.M. Shorney

My Rating: 3/5 stars Average Rating: 4/5 stars Format: ebook ISBN13: 9781310806902
I received a free copy in exchange for a honest review from AuthorAmp.com
Night of All Evil was a good gothic horror novel about a witch named Freya that has a dark past that comes back to haunt her and her family. Freya was my favorite character and I really enjoyed reading from her point of view. The thing I liked about her was how she acted in the situations she is placed in. She also is just an interesting person that also happens to be a super powerful witch, which is pretty cool. In fact once I started this novel, I had a hard time putting it down. While I really enjoyed reading the story, the character development was just okay and it was kind of predictable. However, it was still a good read that grabbed my attention and kept me entertained.                                                                                                   Thanks for reading!                                            …

Anyone? by Angela Scott

I finished this book in about three hours...
I also tweeted her to see if there would be a sequel...which I want really bad...

"The end of the world? That’s the stuff of Hollywood blockbusters and deep philosophical exercises in school. No need to sweat it. So when sixteen-year-old Tess’s doomsday-dad builds a bomb shelter in their suburban backyard, everyone thinks he’s gone crazy….
…Until fire rains down from the sky, sinking whole cities into colossal craters and setting much of the world ablaze.
Tess’s dad gives her a few short minutes to gather her emergency bag and her freaked-out kitten, then leads her outside and into the underground shelter. Terrified, the last thing she expects is for him to leave her there all alone, but he has no choice—he must find her missing brother. Before leaving, he makes Tess promise to keep the hatch door shut, not to open it for anyone but him, and to stay put until he returns.
But he forgot to tell her one thing: What is she supposed …

Dewey's 24 Hour Read-A-Thon Tips for All!

Hey everyone! I hope you all are having a great month. I am super excited since the Dewey's 24 Hour Read-A-Thon is almost here. I have only done this once, but I learned a lot during that 24 hour period. Now I am going to share my advice with you.

1. Read What YOU Want to Read.

This is incredibly important. If you are not reading something you want to read and your pushing yourself to read it, then put it down and take a break. Read something you want or take a nap. If your doing this, it could led to a reading slump or watching Netflix... I totally did that! Not that there is anything wrong with taking a break! Or watching Netflix...

2. Take Breaks, Even Naps!

This is key to having fun during this read-a-thon! If your eyes start to blur, take a nap. If your hungry or want to watch Netflix for a little bit. Do it! Or you could cheer other people on during the read-a-thon. If you didn't sign up to be a cheerleader, join #TeamRogue and cheer. :D Just do not over work yourself.
