Biannual Bibliothon TBR!

Once again it's time for the summer part of the Biannual Bibliothon! This portion of the read-a-thon runs from July 3rd to July 9th. I can't wait for this week long read-a-thon to binge read some great books! Also it might help my annoyingly long reading slump to end. The hosts of this read-a-thon came up with several reading and video challenges and I will link their youtube videos about both below. While I will not be doing the video challenges, however, I will be participating in a couple of the reading challenges. The Reading Challenges include:   1. Read the group book- The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson   2. Free Choice/Wild Card Book   3. Read a Book Off of the Host's List of Recommendations   4. Read a Book With Your Favorite Mythical Creature   5. Read a book You've Been Putting off Picking Up   6. Read a Book from an Author You've Never Read Before   7. Read a Book in a Different Formant than You Usually Read I will not ...

Late Read-A-Thon TBRs! #ProjectTBR #TBRLove

Hi guys, girls, and everyone in between, I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day. So it is kind of late to do a TBR for the TBR Love read-a-thon that runs from Valentine's day to the 20th and the Project TBR read-a-thon that runs from the 16th to the 22nd, but I'm going to do it anyway! So I am currently reading The Patmos Deception by Davis Bunn (...yes I know... I am still reading it) and Rising Tide: Dark Innocence by Claudette Melanson and Daniel Chon. If I finish these then I am going to move onto the Warrior Heir by Cinda Williams Chima. Then if I finish that I am going to start Novelty by Shann Hurst. So yeah, that is what I am going to read for those read-a-thons and I am not doing any challenges for the Project TBR read-a-thon. If you are participating in any of these read-a-thons, then good luck and I wish everyone a good end to the month of February! Also I will be posting a mid-February update if anyone is interest!  -Ashley <3

Night of All Evil by J.M. Shorney

My Rating: 3/5 stars Average Rating: 4/5 stars Format: ebook ISBN13: 9781310806902 I received a free copy in exchange for a honest review from AuthorAmp.com Night of All Evil was a good gothic horror novel about a witch named Freya that has a dark past that comes back to haunt her and her family. Freya was my favorite character and I really enjoyed reading from her point of view. The thing I liked about her was how she acted in the situations she is placed in. She also is just an interesting person that also happens to be a super powerful witch, which is pretty cool. In fact once I started this novel, I had a hard time putting it down. While I really enjoyed reading the story, the character development was just okay and it was kind of predictable. However, it was still a good read that grabbed my attention and kept me entertained.                        ...
